As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting duties for multiple non-profit clients. You will be responsible for A/P, A/R, reconciliations, invoicing, and other tasks as determined by an account lead or client.


  • Possess the soft skills required to promote healthy communications among team members and clients
  • Manage the customer relationship after the sale and ensure a smooth transition through implementations, to ongoing support.
  • Establish and maintain a chart of accounts to facilitate accurate and timely financials. Define bookkeeping policies and procedures for clients.
  • Create journal entries to adjust general ledger as needed.
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and all balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and issue client invoices, review accounts receivable to manage collections process.
  • Make necessary month end closing entries.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other schedules as requested by clients.
  • Maintain annual budget, calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to clients.
  • Process client payroll and ensure proper entry in general ledger.
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by clients or other team members.


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop/Online
